delete folder after installing sp2

After installing SP2 I saw there's two new folder (among others I’m sure) in
the windows directory and want to know if deleting them would would do
anything to me computer?

- ServicePackFiles (532)
- SoftwareDistribution (527Mb)

Seems odd - I installed SP2 a week or so ago, with big problems to report. I
had to do a couple of power-off restarts during the installation process
when the PC froze, but since then its been 100% stable.

Anyway, I've just checked and my Software Distribution folder is only 4.3
MB - anyone able to explain the size difference between our two systems.

Hi,

Don't know, the setup folder should have been deleted at the end of the
process. Evidentally, something interfered with the process.
