Delete email adsdressees

When entering an address in Outlook 2007, a dropdown menu provides choices.
Deleting any from the contact list does not remove any of these choices. How
do I remove unwanted/incorrect addresses from this dropdown menu?

If you are refering to autocomplete, as you type in the address, highlight
the bad address using arrow key, Del btn
