The first time I delete a file in XP Explorer, it takes 30 seconds to
disappear. And I can do nothing while waiting. After this initial delete,
any subsequent deletions during the session occur immediately (2-3 secs) as
they should. It doesn't matter if Confirm Deletion in enabled or not and I
am not on a network. Any ideas why I need this "warm-up"?
