delete causes crash

I tho't updating to 1.0.5 would solve this problem, but it still exists.
Hope U can help; this is a quote from my post to a Newsgroup:

"Whenever I delete an E-Mail post(shift-delete)in my INBOX using
SeaMonkey, I get this message:

"SeaMonkey has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the
inconvenience, etc, etc.
Send Error Report, Don't Send. "

Make sure your version of SeaMonkey is up-to-date, and if you have the alpha version, crashes would not be a surprise.

See what Event Viewer has in it's log. Select Start button/ select Run , then type in

eventvwr.msc<enter>

-- or Go to Atart menu, then select Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance/Administrative Tools >Event Viewer.

Review the sections and look for Errors or Warnings that match the time the event occurred.
Double click---the information "may" give a clue.
