Delete an e-mail?

Inadvertently I included some personal info into an e-mail. I have
tried to remove this e-mail but Search still shows it to be present.

How can I remove all trace of this e-mail from my HD?

The file is mostly likely gone, but it may still be listed in the search
index.
You can rebuild the index..
Control Panel - Indexing Options - Advanced - Rebuild

Is it in Sent Items or Deleted Items folder?

Neither. It shows up in Search results in full with other related
e-mails.

Many thanks. I found the email I want to delete. I was in a cache. I
deleted it from there and Vista Search no longer finds it. I assume
the thing is no longer on my HD so the bad guys can no longer find it
and use my info.
