Delete a page range?

Does anyone know of a way to delete a range of pages, without having to
highlight/select them all?
 
No, Word is not a page layout application. But note that in Outline view,
you can easily select and delete a heading including its collapsed
subordinate paragraphs, which makes deleting large blocks of text easier.
