Delegation Problems

Hi everyone,

We recently upgraded from NT4 and Exchange 55 to AD on Win2003 and Ex2003
sp2, all clients are using Outlook 2003.(Office Sp2)

In the past, users could delegate other users to allow access to their
calendars, inboxes, etc.... without any server side changes. But since the
migration to our new environment, this functionality is limited or not
working at all. In some cases, after 24 hours or so, some of the delegation
works, in other cases we've had to change permissions to allow access at all.
We get an error on the client side, "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft
Outlook could not access the specified folder location" . I checked the
knowledgebase articles, closest to this is one relating to Office XP SP2 & 3,
which should not apply to us, KB814556.

Has anyone got some suggestions... we would prefer not to have to resort to
modifying accounts in AD to facilitate delegation.... thanks in advance!

Regards

Robin

Further to my last message, we have discovered that this problem is only
affecting users in a different W/LAN segment from that of the Exchange
server, so I am wondering if anyone can tell me if there are specific ports
in use for delegation which are outside of the norm...

Thanks in advance!
