Delegate troubles

Has anyone ever had the problem of a delegate not being
able to send an email as the owner of the account for
which they have permissions? I am a delegate who has
editor's permissions to access my boss's inbox which
should (I thought) allow me to send emails from his
account as him NOT on behalf of him. However, if I open
his Inbox and try to create an email, the email says it is
from me, not him. I do not want to use the "...on behalf
of" statement. Please let me know if there is a way to
change this. We are on an Exchange 2000 server and I am
using Outlook XP.

Thanks!
Lauren

Your administrator have to configure the "Send As" properties of your bosses
mailbox. The permissions in Outlook are "Send on behalf of". With the "Send
As" on Exchange configured you'll be sending with just his name in the
"From" field.

Hope this helped!
