Hi
i currently have a user experiencing a problem thats kind of 2 errors in
one, his main one being saving a powerpoint presentation file to a network
drive. The user opens a file from the shared drive makes any changes and
tries to write it back, this sometimes works but sometimes not. Also in his
setup he has his lotus notes data held on his home drive and the rest of the
installation on his local drive so he can roam, and when he tries to save a
powerpoint file to his shared drive it takes a long while and fails, then
comes up with delayed write failed saying his lotus notes healine data cannot
write to his home drive? at current state he can only then save the
powerpoint in the same folder but under a new name.
ive tried the net config server /autodisconnect:-1 just in case he is losing
network connecting thro some kind of time out.
Iv also tried the obvious like his security privaleges to that specific
folder and reapplied them.
Any other suggestions?
