Delayed response

I'm running a network with 7 PC's running W2K and xp. I'm
having problems with two of my PC's, one running xp and
the other running W2k. When I enter a site, the browser
stops responding for a few seconds, then return to normal.
I have reinstalled ie6 on both machines, but I get the
same result. I have all the updates. HELP!!!

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
