delayed deliver of email

I have several users (WinXP SP2 and Outlook 2002/XP) who are not getting
messages showing up in their inboxes until they click to another folder.
Once they do that several messages pop in!!! this seems to have started
around the time we installed XP SP2. Anybody having similar issues? Anu
thoughts how I can reslove this?
