Delay when switching from Word 2003 to Word 2007 (and back)

I need to have both Word 2003 and Word 2007 installed on my computer, but
after using one of the versions, opening the other version brings up a
Windows Installer dialog and it takes a LONG time for Word to open. Herb
Tyson had a registry hack for this posted on his "bible" blog back in March,
but the blog is only archived from April. Anyone know what the registry
setting is that will prevent this? (Herb?)
