Defragmenting

Lately after defragmenting a pop up says "some files cannot be defragmented -
see report"
Then when I open report no files appear in the box - 'files cannot be
defragmenting'. Thus I gather this is a wrong report. Previously reports were
good -how can I troubleshoot this issue so that it would give me the right
report as previously.

The MFT ( Master File Table ) is invariably is in two or three fragments
and is not listed.

How many folders does it say are fragmented?
