Defragmenter

What would cause the defragmenter to say that "there are
files that cannot be defragmented" and to see the list in
the report? When I look at the report there are no files
listed that could not be defragmented.
 
Some system files and "in use" files can not be defragged. It's normal and
nothing to be concerned about. XP's not so fussy about fragmentation as
earlier versions.
 
Ok, thanks. I just was wondering since it just started
doing this recently.
