where do i find defragging on my comp and how do i use it

In XP -

1) click on start
2) click on control panel
3) click on performance & maintenance
4) choose "rearrange items on your hard drive to make
programs run faster"

Then when the defragmenter opens up, you should be able
to choose "analyze" or "defragment" from the bottom of
the screen. Choose "analyze". It should tell you
whether you need to defragment. If you've had your
computer for a while and haven't done this before, you'll
probably need to. And depending on how much stuff you've
got, it might take a little bit of time for it to
complete your task. But you'll be glad you did!
