defragment doesn't work on drive c

I can not get defrag to work on drive c. It works on d
but not c. Stopped working this week. Haven't had
problems with it before. Click the button and nothing
happens. No error messages.
 
Try it from a command prompt, it may give you a meaningful message

defrag c:
