defragging stops Internet

Hello. I defragged my computer and since then, I haven't been able to
connect to the internet. I have a cable modem and it is working alright.
What can I do to restore my Internet service.

Running defrag will not break and internet connection. This must be
coincidental to something else happening.
Try running System Restore to revert back to a date just prior to the
problem occurring.

Have you tried contacting your ISP to see if they can help troubleshoot this
for you?
