defrag

mourning

i am new at this XP. well when i defrag drive C, at
end i get a message that it couldnt defragment all files
and to click view report , when i click i get a emty
window.

have i got a major problem?

Hi Larry,

Probably not, as not all files can be defragged. Run a disk check.
Right-click the drive in Windows Explorer, choose properties. Go to the
tools tab and select the disk checker. You will likely be prompted to
restart the system in order to run the scan (an active drive cannot be
dismounted and given a full scan while it is in use, so rebooting is
necessary).
