Hi!

Can anybody recommend a defrag utility other than the one included with
XP?

Thanks,
D.

I'd recommend Diskeeper, cool scheduling features, does not hog system
resources, runs in the background without any issues and also defrags
the MFT n Paging file.Been running it for quite some time , i feel it
does a cool job.

I am not going to challenge your opinion - you should choose whatever
software you think is best for your situation. I am only presenting my
opinion. Or as Paul Harvey used to say, "the rest of the story".

"Myths or Misperceptions

Myth 5 - We are going to use the built-in Windows defragmentation utility.

If you are working at home on a single workstation, this is probably all you
need. The built-in defragmentation utility is woefully inadequate for
enterprise use."
