Every time I try to run defrag I get the error that says, "Disk defragmenter
has detected that Chkdsk is schedules to run on the volume: (c:). Please run
Chkdsk /f" How do I do that?

Go to START then RUN and type "cmd" (without the quotes) and press the ENTER
key. You should get a DOS window.

In the DOS window, type "chkdsk /f c:" (again, no quotes) and hit the ENTER
key.

The PC will probably tell you that it needs complete control of the disk to
perform this task and that it may ask you if it should run at next boot.
Tell it YES by pressing the "y" key and reboot your system.

When it is rebooting, do not press any keys or it will abort the chkdsk
operation.
