defragmente detected by chkdsk?

I cant defragmente my laptop with the warning said :"Disk defragmenter has
detected that Chkdsk is schedule to run on the volume C. Please run
Chkdsk/f"
I run the Chkdsk but it still not let me defrag. and I cant do the restore
also.
Please help me.
