When I run analyze in the defrag utility, it says to defrag. So I do. But
then I can analyze again and it says I need to defrag again. Keeps saying
this? Is something wrong with my utility? It doesnt give me any errors and
says it is completed at the end of each defrag I run. I have more than 15%
free space....65% to be exact. Baffled in Tacoma

What files are not being defragged? The inbuilt program does have it's
limitations. Also you can try running it in safe mode. You don't have to
worry too much about fragmentation. For most users defrag once a month and
you're ok.

Run "PageDefrag" in addition:

If you had a lot of fragmentation, that wouldn't be unusual. If you haven't
run defrag in a long time it could take two or three runs to get everything
straightened out.

That's not what he's talking about; read the post; he's being told it needs
to be defragged. He didn't ask about files that don't/won't defrag.

Safe Mode is a good suggestion though.

You don't know that's why the message is coming up.
