Defrag caused XP not to run

After I defrag drive c, which is fat 32 and a particion
of the whole the other is d nfts, XP has corrupted files
and will not ewxecute any of my additional software
properly.

The only 3 times I have seen a defrag cause corrupted files is when there
was defective RAM in the computer. Changed the RAM - reloaded the operating
system - reinstalled all programs - problem was solved. Of course, your
problem may be entirely different!
