can you post link? i tried defender auto update and get nothing; then i
tried windows update and updates do not show up. tried searching for a kb doc
that would contain updates. no luck.
I tried this a number of ways and times. (Windows XP sp2, w cpu) I
uninstalled, then ran the Dial-a-Fix program available (in development) at
majorgeeks then checked for sure using the suggested msiexec at the Italian
windows problem post, tried to find the subdirectory with the definitions
(wasn't there) and then reinstalled from a downloaded to desktop version. It
installed and downloaded the update successfully. I am using Explorer 7 beta
2 and was worried about "you can't go back" getting in the way perhaps,
