Defender Vanished!

I run a computer network of 10 computers all running XP pro. Defender was
installed on all of them but this morning it has vanished off of them alll!
The computers are left on Monday night to update themselves. June 11th. We
are connected via a DSL modem and router and all are running 'one care'. So
far this does not make sense to us! No warning messages are to be found.

Any ideas?

Defender is still there but,
by default installing WLOC disables Windows Defender:

Un-installing WLOC will re-enable Defender unless you've removed
Defender from your system.
