Sounds like you had your pc setup to AutoLogon you can run regedit, then
drill down to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
and edit the string values below with the new user name and password.
"DefaultUserName"=
"DefaultPassword"=
Then the pc should autologon as before.
