Default System Font Problem

Once in a while when I boot my computer, my default system
font gets replaced with a weird font (unreadable
symbols). Usually I can fix the problem by doing a system
restore, but I'm getting tired of this... Is there a way
to fix this permanently???

Create a new user account and copy your settings to this account. Use
the new account from now on and see if the problem comes back.
