Default switchboard does not open when database is opened

I am using Access 2000. I created a database and used the Switchboard Manager
to set up a switchboard to navigate through my forms and reports. I made my
main switchboard the default by clicking "Make Default" in the Switchboard
Manager. This should open my main switchboard when I open the database.
However, it does not. I must open the switchboard from the database window.
What have I done wrong?

Hi,
you have to set up the startup options...go to tools--startup...set your
switchboard form as the first form to open. Also uncheck the database window
as it should be hidden and any other things you want (shortcut keys,
menus...).
Hold down shift key to get back in while starting after setting the options.

Good luck

That solved the problem! Thanks!
