default Search is changed

My default Search was MSN until something changed that. Now when I click
Search, it's a bunch of categories. How do I get it back the way it was?

Download all of these utilities and scan the system.

Note: Spyware removers are rules-based and are updated very frequently as and when new malware is discovered. Therefore, update both of these tools before scanning, very important.

hmmm... not sure what "a bunch of categories" refers to,
but... in IE, click search and go to "Customize" (you may
have to click the double-right-arrows on the right of the
toolbar to show the remaining toolbar menu items), then
make sure the "Use search assistant..." radio button is
selected, and then below, make sure "Find a web page" is
checked and the "MSN Search" checkbos is checked - MSN
search should be the top (only) item in the list now -
you may want to verify other search options, but that
should put things back to default MSN search...

I did exactly what you suggested, but the result is the same -- a bunch of
categories such as Online Gambling, Finance, Health, Insurance, Travel,
etc -- all with links underneath. I guess I'll have to try Ramesh's
suggestion.
