Default save location for word

How can I change the default location when I save a
document in word? Currently the default location comes
up as My Documents, and I want to change this to My
Desktop.

Keep in mind that it is a really bad idea to save your documents to your
Desktop. With that said, to change the default file saving location, click
"Tools", "Options", click the "File Locations" TAB, select the first listing
and click "Modify", then browse to where you want to save them normally.
