Default Printer Won't Stay Default After Ending Windows Terminal Server Session

the users are using XP remote desktop to connect to the terminal
servers, and they make a printer the default printer then they end the
connection and go back in and the printer they selected as default is
not default anymore
 
Sounds like the group policy on the remote server is preventing this...
