Default Printer in Winsows XP does not retain between office sites

On having two different office locations, default printer
changes to Fax or a differnt printer.

Working between two locations, when the user comes back
to original office location where the Default Printer is
actually physically present, finds that the Default
Printer has changed to Fax or to some other printer.

Any suggestions are welcome.
 
OK, only a suggestion. The first thing that comes to my mind is user profile
problem. How or why: I don't know. But maybe the user's using a roaming
profile that is corrupt or should use a roaming profile.
