Default password for recovery console?

Hi
I have an installation of windows XP pro. that crashed due to CryptSrv (rsaenh.dll and dssenh.dll). I have'nt specified a password yet, so I assume the recovery console must have a default, since it rejects "blank"

The recovery console does not have a default password. It requires the
password that you specified when you first loaded Windows XP Pro.

I feared that was the answer :-
The strange part is the first time I run the recovery-console, I can log on using a "blank" password. This is where I chkdsk/disable the services I thought were crashing the installation. After I restart the computer and let the setup resume, I guess the password is a random garbled password, since "blank" is no longer enough
