Default MTU

Hi there

I'm trying to find out the default MTU size and where in the registry this
is stored? We currently change ours to 1300 by editing the following key and
entering a DWORD value:
HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters\Interfaces

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
