Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the default location where outlook 2000 wants to save
attachments? So If I choose "Save As...."

Can I also change this location to anywhere I like?

Thx in advance,

Ramon

Ramon,

U can save your files at the "data file management" where u can add
files/folders.
U can also save file on the web.
There is no such thing as "save as" in the Outlook File.
Hope u r clarified.

This has nothing to do with the question. Moreover, even if it did, it
would apply only to versions of Outlook later than the one the OP mentions:
OL 2000.

The OP was talking about saving attachments. Apparently you can't read.
Hope u r clarified.

I hope the same about you.

Apparently, Outlook 2000 doesn't have the ability to change that location to
any folder other that My Documents. See this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/198190/en-us . You could change the
definiion of the My Documents folder, though. Keep in mind it will affect
every program that looks for My Documents and can lead to Outlook 2000
having problems closing.
