Default file names when saving as JPG

PowerPoint 2007: How can I change the default file names when I <save> <as>
a JPG file type? Currently, PowerPoint saves as 'Slide1.jpg', 'Slide2.jpg',
....,'Slide10.jpg', ..., 'Slide100.jpg', etc.

I'd like to add leading zeros to the file name - e.g. 'Slide001.jpg',
'Slide002.jpg', 'Slide010.jpg', etc.

Is there a parameter or setting in PowerPoint or the registry that can be
altered to accomplish this behavior?

No, but there are utilities that allow batch renaming of files. I don't
use one but I'm sure somebody else can jump in here with suggestions; if
nobody here has any ideas, I'm sure Google will.

Or for very little money, there's our commercial ImageExport add-in which
allows you to specify the naming and numbering formats. There's a free,
fully functional demo at http://www.pptools.com/imageexport/

Thanks, Michael. Between us we have the better part of a whole memory, it

I think maybe you're looking at an OLD picture of me, as opposed to a new
picture of old me. Two wrongs may not make a right, but with luck, two greys
make a whole.

Definitely nothing to eat there
