Default domain policy

Just want to clarify something if anyone can help.

I have the administrator account in the default users
container.
I created an OU for all other users. I want to apply
password minimun length, expiry etc and also other setting.
If I do these changed in the default domain policy, would
these changes affect the administrator account...?

I beleive any account related restrictions need to be
applied to the default domain policy

Please advise.

You can do this changes only in default domain policy

I beleive any account related restrictions need to be

This will affect all the users in the domain also administrator account
