default desktop layout

I know this is probably the most basic thing for a
windows domains, but I am not sure how to setup a default
user profile with default shortcuts and network mapping
for new users and force old user to have to have the same
setup upon the next startup. Please help
 
First you have to create a template profile than you can configure the profile to use the template.
 
How do you create that, or where. I was using the
default domain policy snap-in. Which allows you to
create different types of desktop layout.
