default colors windows mail -frame and browser bar

How do you change the color. It seems when my monitor came back from
sleeping, everything turned to shades of gray. Is there a reason for this and
how do I change it back?
 
If you are seeing this in other programs besides Windows Mail,
then it is not a Windows Mail problem.

Have you rebooted the computer? If that did not fix the problem, try
uninstalling the display driver, then download and install the latest one.
