Default Browser Problem

I have developed a bespoke web browser in VB. I have made the relevant
changes in the registry to make the browser the default for opening
*.htm,
*.html, etc.

When the bespoke browser is running, if I click a hyperlink that opens
a new
window, MIE6 opens the page instead of the bespoke browser. It's the
same
with "Open in New Window" or ""Open Link in New Window"

Any Ideas
