DeepBurner - Attention Rob

You recommended DeepBurner in an earlier
response to my Burn4Free poster. I downloaded the one and set it up but did
not work. My explanation is here if yoou could kindly help me.
--------------------------------------------------------

I have a two years old computer running windows me without any problem.
I have two cd drives
1. CD/DVD writer Driver letter E:
It is automatically picked in DOS and Windows
shells/explorers.
2. CD/DVD player - Drive letter F:
It is also automatically picked in DOS and
Windows shells/explorers.
Both cd drives work OK in third party utilities.
like Nero and Easy cd creator.
The drive letters E: and F: were assigned automatically by WindowsMe.
The both letters are true in when boot by the
the WinMe start-up(ebd) disk as well a "normal" boot from the hard disk.
--------------------------------------------------------
Problem:-
DeepBurner does not recognise the any CD/DVD drives
for destination burning.
It only recognise all drives in the "Select Display
Explorer"
but nothing in the "Burning Destination Display Window"
and so the good and nice easy recording software becomes
worthless.
--------------------------------------------------------
After I move selections to "Data CD #1"left explorer to record.

1. Click the "Burn Disk" icon, the result is :-

A. ASPI initialised
B. Looking for available drives
C. No drives found.

The "dropdown list" for "Drive" and "Speed" are
completely blank and nothing can be entere manually.

The commands there "Cancel", "Erase", "Burn" and
"Save iso" are greyed out and so not available.

Any help/advice would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Just to intrude here, in the hope it helps....you might find something
useful about this in the DeepBurner forums at
http://www.deepburner.com/forum/ -- I've noticed that the "not
recognising the drive" problem has appeared in there.

(It's worth persevering with -- I've found DeepBurner to be an
excellent program.)

Had the same problem. After I reinstalled ASPI DeepBurner was able to
see the drives. So the problem is not with DeepBurner.
