decompressing photos prior to sending

Greetings to all
Have lost the feature of a window popping up asking if I want my photos
decompressed before sending them. Appreciate any help in getting that feature
back. Many thanks for any help.

I think you mean "resized" instead of decompressed.
If so
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSV32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI... and there is a dot
between ...VW and DLL
This will take a second to run and you should get a "success" message.
