I am inputting data into the cells numbers with decimals in them and some of
the cells, not all, are rounding up my decimals and I don't want that. Does
anyone know how to fix this or stop this?

What happens if you format the cells in question as General?

Widen the cells so that they are wide enough to show the number of decimal
places you've entered.

Hi,

Do the following:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options. The Options dialog is displayed.
2. Click the Edit tab.
3. Under the Setting section, select the Fixed decimal check box and click
the arrow to increase or decrease the decimal place you want to view in the
worksheet cell format.
4. Click OK to save the settings and return to the worksheet.

Am I confused? I thought that the "fixed decimal places" option under
Tools/ Options/ Edit was the one which didn't cause rounding of decimals but
actually shifted the decimal place, and should therefore normally be
avoided? If 2 decimal places are set under "fixed decimal places", then
entering 12345 gives you a number of 123.45

Which version of Excel causes "fixed decimal places" to behave in the way
you describe, Challa?
