Decent Unzip/Zip

But does 7-zip have the option to extract to folder, on the context
menu, where the folder name is the same name as the zip file? Power
archiver does this and I have been unable to find any other zip program
to do this.

Yes. You'll find it in Tools>Options>Plugins>7zip>Options. IZArc has
it as well, if I remember correctly. In fact, most of them do.

tugzip or izarc; i prefer tugzip but both are good.

Can TugZip handle big archives? I mean with about 65000 files in it.
Winzip opens it in seconds.

I need decent Zip-Unzip utility...any suggestions
Let me suggest something not listed yet. I use Altools - AlZip

http://www.altools.net/Portals/0/ALZip.exe

I use the Alzip program and their FTP program and I love them. With AlZip.
You can also unzip multiple files and there are several options with the
right
click on where to unzip.I have also created zips and emailed them with it.
And it recougnises a slew of compressed file types.

But Winzip is NOT freeware.

Fran,
Better to post a link to info about the program rather than a
download link:

http://www.altools.net/Default.aspx?tabid=47&alzip=box

Most people won't install a program without knowing a little about it first.

Some reviews here:

http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/ALZip/1097479556/1

However, I wonder why the company hasn't submitted the program to sites
like Snapfiles or Nonags.

IZArc does this right out of the box.
