Can anyone tell me what "debuglog.log" is and how to shut
it off if it is not essential? Whenever I change
something on my system or install an update from Windows
Update and click okay to reboot I get a window stating
that 'debuglog.log is not responding'. When I click the
button to end the task nothing happens. I then need to
hit the 'reset' button on my computer to reboot - after
which all appears to work fine.
I have already looked at Knowledge Base Article 164938,
which seems to describe the problem, but states that it
only applies to the NT OS - not XP Professional SP1 which
I am running. In the absence of a fix, can anyone tell me
how to set my event log to not wrap events if the log is
full? Thanks!
