Debugger

Hello,

I have a WIN XP Pro machine that I recently purchased. I noticed that
whenever I try to open a PDF file or a webpage by clicking a link (about 50%
of the time) I get a window that pops up called "Just-In-Time-Debugging".
It is some sort of Microsoft Script Editor and I am not sure why it keeps
popping up all the time.

Any ideas how to correct or stop this?

Thanks,

Ian

These errors are on web sites that you visit or local pages, such as help
files, that display in Internet Explorer windows. Apparently, your Internet
Options are set to notify you whenever a script error is detected. You can
change that:

Internet Options> Advanced. Under "Browsing" place a check next to
"disable script debugging" and, if present, remove the check next to
"display a notification about every script error." Click OK. Close Internet
Explorer (if open). The changes will take effect the next time you launch
it.

NOTE: The wording for the settings may be slightly different than what I've
written since I may not be using the same version of IE as you are.
However, the above should be enough to set you down the right path to get
rid of those notifications.
