Dead Computer Emergency--Help :(

I installed what was supposed to be a virus scanner (Panda Antivirus
titanium) but which completely took over my computer instead. It runs a huge
amount of multiplying processes that can't be shut down, and that freeze the
computer. This is obviously a Panda specs problem, but what I need is this:
I have about a one minute time frame upon Windows XP loading to do anything
before the computer freezes. System restore takes over 30 seconds long to
come up on the screen, and therefore can't be done; same with uninstall
programs. If anyone knows how to system restore from startup, that would be
helpful. Microsoft help said to boot up from disks or the CD-- my floppy
drive doesn't work, and no XP CD came with my computer. I cannot run in safe
mode--instant freezing-- and the computer never loads the DOS line if that
startup option is selected. Anything anyone knows about stopping processes
that cannot be stopped from automatically starting up (disabling in msconfig
didn't work) would be very helpful.
Please direct any e-mails to (e-mail address removed)

Boot into Safe Mode and remove Panda.

Simply R.click my computer,properties,system restore,check the box
"turn off system restore",then close-out.Then you should go to run, type:cmd
In cmd type:Sfc /Scannow When the graph starts, install xp cd,exit the info
page,when the graph is thru,type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,then type:
EXIT Restart computer,remove cd.

I run PAV Titanium 2004 and have had no problems at all with it. In fact I
just downloaded the most recent version from their website and it's running
fine too. As with any AV program there are a number of processes involved,
but they are not "multiplying" all the time. If the problems you are
experiencing are "Panda specs problems" as you suggest then all Panda users
should be affected - no? There might be some kind of malware on your computer
which has corrupted the AV installation, have you any anti spyware progs
installed?
Anyhows, if you can boot to safe mode with command prompt, you can start
System Restore by typing:

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe then press enter.
