DCOM Application fails to recognise identity (user)

I have a w2k server which was working fine. But after I
demoted the active directory and then promoted back again
(I created the same users). One of my DCOM application
does not recognise the identity (user) assigned using
dcomcnfg for the application. I re-assigned the user but
still fails. Please help.

in dcomcnfg remove all users from the default setting. Then Reboot. Try
you app. If it still does not work then re add the users to the dcomcnfg.
If one of the users is IIS user you may need to uninstall IIS and then
reboot and reinstall IIS. It is probally a SID issue.
