DCDIAG Error after successful DC promotion

I recently added a new AD domain controller to our network to replace our
old NT4 box. All went well with the promotion. However when I run a DCDIAG I
get the following error.

Starting test: systemlog
An Error Event occured. EventID: 0x8000003E
Time Generated: 02/05/2004 08:54:30
(Event String could not be retrieved)

Any help appreciated.

Check the event logs for anything else that looks like it might apply to any
problem, as this by itself doesn't point to any single problem, although
found a couple of cases where they saw this (with other things) and their
sysvol wasn't shared out. Do a "net share" and be sure you see sysvol and
netlogon listed. Also be sure that dns is working well and you can ping
your dns domain name and get a reply.
