dc demote

I have two dc computers one-dc and two-dc I want to demote the two-dc them
back to memberserver

I do dcpromo and I get this error

Directory Sevice failed to replicated off changes made locally

"The DSA operation is unable to proceed because of a DNS lookup failure. "

the tcpip is configured dns point to dc-one ip and wins is the same this is
where the server for this funcation are.



please help
 
Hello,
Is your DC1 as you call it the only DNS server listed at DC2? ensure that.
if it its you may restart all DCs in order to force a dns re registration of
srv records or use nltest from Windows Support Tools.
